Japanese stone lantern

These lanterns were made in the Showa period and has been carefully stored and is in good condition.
The delicate carvings, combinations and curvilinear designs are a concentrated work of craftsmanship and aesthetics. A friend of mine who runs a landscaping business decided to close it down and passed it on to me.

This lantern was incorporated to create a uniquely Japanese atmosphere and feel,

この灯篭は、昭和の時代に作られたものであり、丁寧に保管されていたので、状態は良いものです。
繊細な彫りや組み合わせ、曲線的なデザインなど、職人の技術と美意識が凝縮された作品となります。

造園業を営む知り合いが、廃業することとなり、譲り受けました。

日本独特の雰囲気や風情を演出してくれるこの灯篭を取り入れ、

自然環境と調和し、和の要素を取り入れた庭園を作ってみてはいかがでしょうか。
